In partnership with New York Times bestselling author Patti Callahan Henry, John Shors Travel presents an unforgettable literary journey through Savannah and Charleston, two of the South’s most enchanting and historic cities.
This immersive, small-group experience traces the landscapes and inspirations behind Patti’s acclaimed novels, recounting events throughout Surviving Savannah. In Savannah, guests will explore the city’s elegant squares, the Mercer Williams House, and a private tour of the Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum — alongside a shipwreck hunter with actual treasure. Guests will then continue to Charleston to stroll its cobblestone streets, waterfront promenades, and pastel-hued homes.
Along the way, travelers will enjoy private guided tours, rich cultural experiences, and intimate conversations with Patti that bring Southern history and storytelling to life. With lovely accommodations, delicious meals, and free time woven throughout, this 4.5-star journey blends literature, charm, and discovery in true Lowcountry style.
