I had such an amazing time travelling with 18 lovely people from around the world and three gorgeous Tour Leaders, Molly, Tracy and Dilya. Everything was taken care of for us and Molly was wonderful with her calm manner and attention to detail and Tracy's quiet manner assisting in eveything to help make it all run smoothly. The accommodation, locations and breakfasts were excellent and I especially loved the Aurea Museum Hotel in Lisbon and its location to the water and city. The breakfasts at both hotels were fabulous. The choice of restaurants for lunches and dinners was way beyond my expectations and I loved them all. Natasha Lester and Madeleine Martin were just wonderful in sharing their book research knowledge with both such beautiful ladies and so much fun. In fact, one of the best parts of this trip of a lifetime, was the fun and laughter we all shared everyday. This trip was great!! From the accommodations to the food, the tour guides and the guests on the trip. I was expecting a lot and got even more.

I had a great time on this trip. It was well organized starting from the reservation to the actual trip. We had to "pivot" a couple of times due to the weather but John always had great alternatives for us. The group was great and I made a lot of new friends. I would highly recommend John Shors travel.

My daughter and I had an amazing time on our Paris/Lisbon trip with authors Natasha Lester and Madeline Martin! The trip was very well organized and the authors were very generous with their time during our trip. They participated in everything with the group and were very open to questions about their books and writing processes. Both Natasha and Madeline were very gracious and kind; making a point of talking daily with each of us individually throughout the trip. The staff from John Shors - Molly, Tracey and Dilya, accompanied us each day and ensured we got from point A to point B with no issues. They were all enjoyable and fun to travel with, and were always willing to answer questions and try to accommodate any requests. Our group all got along well, and some of us are still communicating in the WhatsApp group chat. This trip exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn't hesitate to book again with John Shors Travel!!

I have been back from my tour for over a week and I still can't stop thinking about how truly special and amazing it was. The group was excellent - mostly ladies from various countries who were all attending for the same reasons - a love of historical fiction, travel, adventure, fashion and meeting new people. From the first meeting everyone felt welcomed by the tour leaders who were just lovely - Molly, Dilya and Tracy. Everything about the trip was well organised and communicated to all, with attention to detail and time to do some solo exploring. Having two fantastic authors of historical fiction join us was truly the icing on the cake - Natasha and Madeline were very involved with the group, explaining the inspiration for their novels, showing the group places they had written about and made the time to get to know everyone. The quality of the food, accommodation and guides was excellent all round. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend a John Shors tour, I truly enjoyed my tour, it was so much better than I had hoped for.
